Affiliate Marketing Trick Day 6 – 100% ROI (6 Days)
Today’s post picks up on the evergreen system I started on the 1st of November.
I’ll keep this post short as time is against me today. As you can see from the screen shot over the last 6 days I’ve received payments (commission) five times I.e. on 5 days out of the 6… I know it’s the 7th now but as I write this post it is early morning in the UK (so I’m not counting Day 7 yet.
Groundbreaking?
Well No… the results are far from groundbreaking, having said that it is obvious that the simple little process is working.
You may remember that I initially began with 3 campaigns and from those 3 campaigns only 1 actually worked. The reason for this was easy to spot (in hindsight)… Low Quality Ad score.
As of November 5th the two failing campaigns are dumped and the focus is on the winning one which I will tweak over the coming weeks
The Profit?
Well overall the profit so far is nominal which is due to the two failing campaigns (pain). If you take the 2 failing campaigns out of the equation though the winning campaign is returning over 100% ROI (this includes the day with zero profit).
What’s So Great about this?
The cool thing about this little affiliate marketing trick is it takes minutes to set up initially. Once set up you simply pay for traffic and that’s it. Nothing techy, no websites or landing pages. Basically you can jump online for the first day, apply this and be in profit before the day ends.
- #1. Find an offer (I’m using ClickBank) following simple criteria
- #2. Spy on what others are doing… I grab their best ads and keywords
- #3. Send cheap paid traffic + Profit
Like I mentioned profits are not huge at this point but I’m still testing. And those falling campaigns served as a lesson which helps me understand the criteria required to profit instantly.
OK, that’s it for now… let me know if this case study is interesting in the comments below and I’ll do what I can to expand on it.
Cheers
Mark Bishop
Hey Mark, this what you are doing look’s & sounds very interesting and that I would love to know what system you are using to get good results. I would be happy for you to expand on it more and jump on board with you.
Basically it amounts to spying on what others are doing and then little more than direct linking to sales pages (with my affiliate link). Its basic stuff and something I did many years ago when I first started online. I re-visited it in an effort to find something uncomplicated that absolutely anyone could do on day 1.
The process is still at the learning and tweaking stage right now (I.e. I had two failed campaigns). I’ll be posting more as I dig deeper.
Hi, are you still able to provide the details for this Clickbank hack?
Hi Mark, I would love to be able to make money from ClickBank. It is one of the platforms that I’m working on along with Amazon for passive income. Looking forward to following you with this case study.
It’s funny that today few people use ClickBank as opposed to when I began. Back then it was the main affiliate platform so everyone had a go at ClickBank affiliate marketing. And there were lots of products and clickbank affiliate training on the subject. The fact that Clickbank isn’t as popular today is actually a good thing in terms of competition (or lack of).
HI Mark, I’m enjoying your success! Hopefully, you will reveal more details soon! I would be anxious to give this a try. Clickbank marketing is so competitive, I’ve not had any success with it. Would love to hear more about how you are doing this. Thanks!
I was thinking the competition on marketing ClickBank products was less fierce today than it was in the past. But then I guess it depends on the channel you are using to promote. One thing I have noticed is a lot of the products haven’t been touched or updated for many years. I believe people are accustomed to seeing great looking websites today – regardless of which niche they may be in. As a rule of thumb I always look for a good looking page that looks current… Ideally the page should have video and content much like we do with product launches.
If you are interested in promoting clickbank products try viewing the sales page as a perspective customer… then ask yourself – would you buy it? Many clickbank products (as I have already mentioned) are very dated. Which if you think outside the box is also a huge opportunity 😉
Mark, are you using software or a search technique to spy on the competition?
Yes a combination of the two Randy… but if you have time you can do it manually
Can you tell us what ppc provider you’re using? I’m curious because everyone says you can’t direct link without getting your account suspended.
Thanks
Direct linking… well it kind of depends which source you use and how the link is displayed. Mine are cloaked from my own domain and re-direct to the offer page. Direct linking (well almost) is not the best way of building and scaling a business, but it is easy and it is useful for those just starting out and looking to make some quick money. I will be putting a PDF together next week for a handful of people, I’ll update then.
About that PDF, I sure hope to be among that handful of people! Looking forward to the update.
Funny you should comment now Fisher, I am actually sat here writing it lol. Details to follow.
Mark, I have tried for 3 years to understand how to make money online. I would love to use this as my breakthrough. I certainly am ready for a copy of this to use immediately. Thanks Fred
Thanks Mark – what a simple method to get some confidence
Hello Mark, how are you ?, I want to share something as a member of rich affiliates, I understand that you have heard about this web page of Carson and Kily, who have the method to be a sales salesperson on the affiliate website and with sales of your own products, niches or subnichos, pay per click, your web page of wordpress, your domain name, finally a number of methods to be able to sell on the web through your web leverage page.
You are not a member of this page, rich affiliates ?, I ask you this question, because I want to know something, with respect to Amazon.com. Well, I want to ask you: Yes, Amazon.com, does it charge you to be a member and promote your products in any category or niche?
I am also a member of Clickbank, I have my referral name and I have tried to make commissions, but it has been in vain. I’m trying to design my website well to be able to sell as an affiliate, not only from clickbank, but from all the marketing platforms that I know, there is one that does not have affiliate products, you should know it, call Alibaba.com, only accept products that you have, either, that you buy some products or sell some of your own. This platform, as it is of Chinese origin, I did not like the way it is sold, because it does not offer affiliate products.
On these tricks that you make known, do you have any software or a control board, which is connected on the web and you can make affiliate sales?
It’s all, thank you, I’m waiting for your comments. In truth, I thank you for taking me into account with these tips.
Muchs thank you, I hope my answers, that I mentioned.
Sincerely:
monty
Ni I am not a member of rich affiliates, never heard of it sorry. No you don’t have to pay to be an Amazon Affiliate. We have a couple of software which include multi-platform integration such as Alibaba and Amazon etc (Not Clickbank).
Hi Mark. I am, ostensibly, an old age pensioner, though I work from home as a part-time consultant to a Chinese company (sounds somewhat grander than it actually is).
I had a go at Internet marketing some 9 years ago and it seemed as easy as pie! Really! I was making £50 – £60 a day for about 3 months, using a very easy system (I suspect I.M. was much easier then) by a couple of people who then proceeded to `make the system slicker’ – an’ what do ya know? – it quickly went down hill, never to return. And never heard of those people again.
I’d love to get started online, again, and your system above seems like a way for me to do it. My previous full-time career was in sales and marketing (bricks ‘n mortar) and took me to several countries. The one thing I learned most was that `simple is always best’ when it comes to attracting buyers. It sounds like the system you mention here fulfills that criterion and I’d love to try it.
I have a great deal of respect for the way you present your stuff, Mark; I’ve looked at a number of your product associations.
So sorry to have rambled on, my friend; felt that I needed to let you know where I’m coming from.
Kindest regards
David Knight
P.S. I’m in the process of building a website/blog which is to outline a course which I used to run but which I feel can be re-engineered for Internet delivery.
